Incubators and accelerators are the lifeline of the innovation ecosystem in any community in a city, state, or country level. From the largest accelerators to the local city SBDC, every entrepreneur-support organization (ESO) needs to find ways to sustain itself and its programs because its customers, the early grassroots-stage startups, don’t usually have the ability to pay cash out-of-pocket for the support that they receive.

To solve this problem, various ESOs have come up with creative ways to support themselves – the wide range of business models include no-cost, equity-only, hybrid, to investment fund. An often under-utilized source of funding is the government which typically almost always looks for ESOs to help meet their small business and innovation metrics.

Join us on February 23rd, at 10 am ET as we host a call on funding opportunities from US federal government agencies with unique programs to fund such ESOs and basic information about what might move the needle for each opportunity. Hosted with OmniSync, this company has built platforms like TurboSBIR which helps startups find and apply for government grants and contracts, and TurboInnovate which helps innovation-driven enterprises conduct market research.
