It all started in a Seattle basement in 1907 with just $100. Two teenage entrepreneurs, Claude Ryan and Jim Casey, created the American Messenger Company. Fast-forward 100 years and their startup has grown to become the world’s largest package delivery service, UPS.

Today, with the most extensive integrated network in the transportation industry, UPS offers customers of all sizes a broad portfolio that uses the same set of assets, creating tremendous leverage and efficiency.

Air, ground, domestic, international, commercial, and residential services are supported through a single pickup and delivery network. With a presence in more than 220 countries and territories, they serve all the world’s major economies, as well as most emerging markets. From startups to global corporations, all their customers utilize the same network to scale their businesses and UPS understands that for the US and global economies to expand, providing support to startups and small businesses is a must.

UPS is also committed to promoting volunteerism, creating social impact, advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and reducing environmental impact.
