During our programs, startups rapidly iterate on their product; test their business model; attend educational sessions; build their network, and drink lots and lots of coffee. At the end of programming, startups present their company to investors, corporate customers, and media at the AlphaLab Demo Day.

The programs are longer than most accelerators, enabling startups to make significantly more progress, on the product and business front, before Demo Day. By limiting the cycles to six companies, AlphaLab ensures that each startup gets attention and hands-on support from the AlphaLab team, the staff at Innovation Works, their mentors and advisors, and the Pittsburgh business community. Notable alumni include The Resumator, NoWait, Shoefitr, Black Locus & Insurance Zebra.
